Flue Gas Desulfurization Spray Towers FGD Wet Desulfurizing Scrubber Process Plants

Desulfurizing Tower process Introduction

The flue gas enters the cylinder of the spray desulfurization tower, and forms a contact interface with the absorber slurry spray cloud in the internal rising stage of the spray desulfurization tower (the flow rate is 1.5-2m/s). The flue gas and the liquid fog particles are fully in contact with the countercurrent, and the dust particles wet by absorbing S02 and trapping dust particles flow down into the bottom of the desulfurization tower in the process of fog particles landing, and are discharged into the sedimentation tank from the overflow hole. The purified gas rising in the cylinder is defogged and dehydrated by the gas-water separator to complete the whole dust removal and desulfurization procedure, and then is led out through the upper cone part of the cylinder. The waste liquid is discharged into the sedimentation tank through the overflow hole at the bottom of the cylinder, (the overflow hole has water seal design to prevent air leakage, and is equipped with a cleaning hole to facilitate the cleaning at the bottom of the cylinder) after precipitation (ash removal) and alkali (regeneration) recycling. At the same time, in order to facilitate the maintenance of the desulfurization system and deal with emergencies, a bypass flue can be built if conditions permit.

Desulfurizing Tower System Composition

Desulfurization system is mainly composed of flue gas system, absorption oxidation system, slurry preparation system, by-product treatment system, wastewater treatment system, public system (process water, compressed air, accident slurry tank system, etc.), electrical control system and other parts.
